 Indian  machine stocks witnessed a strong answer on the NSE after major automakers reported  emotional January 2026 deals  numbers. The positive  instigation pushed the NIFTY Auto Index to come the top- performing sector of the day. 

 

 Shares of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra( M&M), Ashok Leyland, Bharat Forge, and Maruti Suzuki jumped  sprucely, reflecting renewed investor confidence in the  machine sector’s growth outlook.

 Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles  surfaced as the biggest killer among  bus stocks, closing 5.6 advanced at ₹ 364 on NSE.
